Songshan Minsheng KTV: a Late-Night Set List from Tianlai to the Singing Clubs
Minsheng Theater Tianlai KTV, second floor of No. 188, Sec. 5, Minsheng E. Rd, holds 120-plus reviews at 4.2 and is the only room in Minsheng Community you can walk upstairs and sing in. Xinqing Singing Club, which search keeps pairing with it, is actually in Zhongshan District on Lane 121, Sec. 1, Zhongshan N. Rd — about twenty minutes by cab. This piece runs by the clock: the residential room at 8:30, the massage a few doors down at 11, Civic Blvd's singing room and music bar at 1am, and one drink on Nanjing E. Rd Sec 5 on the way home.
Thai Massage Around Tai He Xuan and Up in Tianmu: the Shilin Sequel
The Thai spa at No. 186, Sec. 5, Yanping N. Rd holds a perfect score on 140 reviews and is often full on weekends. Where to go instead: No. 178 next door and Shezheng Rd within ten minutes, or up to Tianmu's lanes off Dexing E. Rd, Zhongshan N. Rd Sec 7 and Zhongcheng Rd — one price tier up, quieter, no wait. With MRT Zhishan walking times and a cab warning.
Da'an, Shida After Dark: the Second Round in the Lanes
The Shida area runs its night in two shifts: before nine-thirty it is the first round at the Shida Road and Longquan Street stalls — queues, fast tables, early closings; after that the crowd thins and the small bars on Taishun and Pucheng Streets light up. Singing in Minsheng Community, Songshan: The Old-Cinema KTV and the Singing Bars
